El Salvador is changing, and so is Central America. As reported by the Salvadoran president, all tickets for Shakira's three concerts sold out in less than 24 hours. Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador, sent a message to Shakira's team after the Colombian singer's tickets for her three dates in the country sold out in less than a day of going on sale. 'I know of the enormous effort the producers are making to extend this impressive Central American residency, based in our country,' Bukele added. Shakira will perform in El Salvador with three concerts scheduled for August 12, 14, and 15 as part of her successful world tour 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour'. Tickets went on sale on December 17, and before a full day had passed since their release, there were no tickets left for any of the three days. Bukele reiterated in his message that his country is the safest in the region at this time.
