Ernesto and Daniel, two technicians from Alianza and Cacahuatique from El Salvador respectively, shared with the newspaper Olé their feelings after the match they officiated against each other.
Daniel expressed: "It was a very intense and complicated match. It is always a challenge to officiate under these circumstances, but we are happy with the effort the players put in."
For his part, Ernesto commented: "We knew it was going to be a difficult match, but we are proud of how the boys handled the pressure. It was an enriching experience for everyone."
Both agreed in highlighting the commitment and dedication of the teams during the match, despite the difficulties that arose.
