DataTrust Consolidates First TIER III and LEED Silver Data Center in El Salvador

The Salvadoran company Aristos Technologies has marked a milestone in regional infrastructure with the consolidation of DataTrust, the first commercial data center in El Salvador to obtain TIER III certification and LEED Silver level.

DataTrust guarantees regional operational continuity with technology from Schneider Electric. Through an alliance with Schneider Electric, DataTrust operates on renewable energy and advanced monitoring systems, ensuring 100% uptime. Thanks to this implementation, the infrastructure has maintained 100% uptime since its launch, combining electrical and mechanical redundancy with predictive monitoring tools.

The successful operation of DataTrust is supported by three pillars of the EcoStruxure architecture software:

• Building Operation: centralizes control of air conditioning, energy, and security, optimizing consumption in the IT infrastructure. • Power Monitoring Expert (PME): identifies alarms with precision and reduces the margin for human error in energy decision-making. • IT Expert: remotely and proactively supervises the health of the facilities 24/7, enabling preventive maintenance and real-time diagnostics.

René Ramos, general manager of Grupo Aristos, highlighted in the third person that the precision of these systems allows detecting failures, such as problems with coolers, and immediately activating redundant lines without affecting the customer experience.

With this foundation, the Aristos Technologies division is positioning itself as a technology hub prepared for future demands of high energy density and Artificial Intelligence in the region.

DataTrust offers unprecedented scalability for markets in El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Panama, allowing companies in sectors like banking and pharmaceuticals to manage large volumes of data securely.

This facility, located in the Altius Tech Park, certifies a maintenance capability without service interruption and compliance with international sustainability standards, using renewable energy and high-efficiency systems to strengthen digital sovereignty in Central America.

The operation of DataTrust is based on Schneider Electric's Secure Power solution, integrating an architecture where all technical components interact in the same language. This project included exhaustive technical support and the training of local engineers in experience centers in the United States.

In turn, José Alberto Llavot, from Schneider Electric, explained that this centralized visibility allows Central American organizations to scale their operations with confidence and reduce risks.
